CLIMBING TRAIL FOR THE SMALLEST CHILDREN
Harnesses, helmet and protective cap under the helmet will be provided by our instructors. The instructors have previously disinfected the parts of the harnesses and helmets that have been in contact with the children.
Harnesses, helmets and a protective cap under the helmet will be provided by our instructors. The instructors have, after each use, disinfected the parts of the harnesses and helmets that have been in contact with the children. The instructors will put on the harness and helmet and explain and show, both to the children and also to the parents, how the carabiner works.
Parents must come in where we put on harnesses and helmets, AND the parents MUST help put on the equipment if there is a need for this, parents also get information about how the carabiner works.
Our climbing system including continuous belay and the zipline trolley (supplied and developed by Kanopeo, Certified Saferoller® Trolley) means that the children can NOT be disconnected from the trail without the assistance of one of our instructors. When the child does not want to or cannot complete the round, we ask parents to contact one of the instructors so that they can release the child from the carabiner. NB parents MUST NOT climb on any platforms or in the construction itself, parents must only move on the ground - only children with the correct equipment and the instructors will move on the construction.
Parents / guardians must take off the harness and helmet after the end of the round, if you need help one of our instructors will assist with this. When returning harnesses and helmets, these are placed on the designated benches.
HEDDAS CLIMBING ROUTE
This trail is also good training for being able to master Ola's climbing trail, but if the child wants to try the big trail, harnesses for Hedda's trail and the orange helmet MUST be handed in first. The child then queues for Ola's climbing trail to get new harnesses there, and a blue helmet, as well as pass the test trail before the child can go on Ola's climbing trail itself.
